How to Make Prayer Cards

Five steps, straight from the stack of index cards. Do it on paper, or build one right here and download it as a phone or desktop wallpaper so their name is in front of you all week.

1
Get index cards of some sort.
2
Write a person’s name on the card.
3
Write a Bible verse to pray for them.
4
Write 1–3 things to pray for their situation.
5
PRAY!
Here is an example ↓
WHO: AVERY (a new believer)

I pray she would know You and Your Word• 2 Timothy 3:16

That she would find community who loves You.• Hebrews 10:24-25

That she would know and understand the love of Christ.• Ephesians 2:18

Draw near to her Lord, help her know You!

Make your card

Fill it in, pick a card color, then download as a JPEG (1920×1080 for desktop, 1080×1920 for your phone lock screen) or print it to cut out.

Live preview of your prayer card

Live preview. It updates as you type.

More Prayer

Scripture Memory

Found in your text, check the ones you want:

Write or paste the verse text onto each card. Writing it out is the first rep of memorizing it. Use extend for a longer card, or split to turn a long passage into one verse per card.

3 Questions to Ask in Your Life Group

Three honest questions for the people who know you. Write your answers here. They’re added to your notes download so you can bring them to group.

How are you feeding your soul?

What have you been reading in the Bible? What has strengthened your heart in your relationship with Jesus this week?

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness...”

How are you feeding others?

What are some way you’ve been able to serve? Have you had an opportunity to share the gospel with anyone? What are some ways you are loving and investing in other believers?

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

How did you feed your flesh?

In what ways have you been tempted this week? How have you sinned? What do you need to confess?

“Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”

Notes

A quiet page for what you're hearing. Select any words to highlight or underline them, and download the whole thing in a clean layout when you're done.

“Create my PDF” gathers everything (your passage, study answers, God’s Role and Even If processing, Life Group answers, these notes, and your one-sentence reflections) into one beautiful document.

Save your work & come back later

Download all your responses as a small file. Next time, load that file and every form fills back in so you can keep adding to it.

One Sentence

Before you close your Bible, finish with three sentences. Just one each. They’ll be woven into your notes download.

What did you learn about God?
How can you respond to Him?
What would require faith?

Worship

Put something on and sing before you close your Bible. This playlist is a good place to start.

The Good News

Ever wonder where to look in the Bible to see what the gospel means, or how to share it with someone? These verses trace God’s greatest invitation to us through Jesus, the same path Harris Creek walks through on its Good News page. Tap any reference to add it to your memory deck, then read them in your Bible.

GOD MADE US TO SEEK HIM

From one man God made every nation and set us in our times and places so that we would seek Him and reach out for Him. He is not far from any one of us.

SIN SEPARATES US FROM HIM

Sin entered the world through one man and death through sin; all of us have sinned and fall short of God’s glory, and the wages of that sin is death.

GOD LOVED US ANYWAY

God demonstrated His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Eternal life is God’s gift in Christ Jesus our Lord.

WHEN WE BELIEVE, WE ARE MADE NEW

When you believe, you are included in Christ and sealed with the promised Holy Spirit. Anyone in Christ is a new creation (the old has gone, the new is here) and this hope anchors the soul, firm and secure. You become part of His body, with a part to play.

If you’d like to talk with someone about how to start a relationship with Christ, Harris Creek would love to hear from you at hello@harriscreek.org.
